Alec Jankowski's songs

Hello, my name is Alec Jankowski. I like long walks on the beach, cuddling next to a warm fire, and when I'm not surfing, you'll find me writing poetry in the setting sun. Oh, wait...disregard that last part...I write music using guitar, bass, drums, and whatever else sounds good. My dream gig is to play in the Max Weinberg Seven on Conan O'Brian, so if you're a big shot TV producer and you like my music, you should give me a call. My influences include such artists as Iron & Wine, Sufjan Stevens, Rhett Miller, The New Pornographers, and Ice T. Check me out at www.myspace.com/alecjankowski for now, and I'll have a real website soon. Thanks for listening!

Challenge Yourself With Weekly Rock

"This song is not my best work, considering it was recorded in around 45 minutes. But hey, "When life gives you lemons, you clone those lemons and make superlemons!"

Make Us Beautiful

"Hey, here it is--the #1 pop ballad everyone's been waiting for: Make Us Beautiful. Think N*SYNC in the mid-90s. Boy, that goes down smooth. The female vocals are my sister, by the way."

France (You Make Me Want To Dance)

"This song is pretty cheesy, but as I recall, cheese is one of France's chief exports. 5 medals and counting!"
