rory- rochester- "this story pretty much tells itself."
aidan- dupont lee the fourth- "a song for my 'buddy' reese. hey dude. where ya been? what have you done for me lately. rock!"
chris- the western and, in case you don't want to find out secrets from the third season of the wire, the western (no spoiler mix)- "Steve and Charlie and I went to a Museum of Television and Radio panel discussion on HBO's The Wire tonight. I wrote most of this song, with their help, on the bus ride home. So it's kind of a "quickie," mostly as practice for my forthcoming masterpiece "The Ballad of Stringer and Avon." Be warned, the song contains season 3 spoilers!"
jon- every goddamn year- "My blurb pool has run dry..."
trevor-(my style is) out of season- "It is. Seriously."
raison- the gods are angry- " I got in an argument over the phone, while driving, on my way to work, with Meredith and was in a bad mood for a large part of the day. I decided I wanted to write something like NIN and somewhere in the middle it turned into Rob Zombie..."

Your song made me laugh my ass off Aidan, does Reece know it's dedicated to him? hehe

Jon I liked the riff that you have going on and the chord progressions. I also really like the echoing you're doing. especially on "dead" lol, I love the ending too.

I like the feel of your song Trev. I also like the mix, it's a very soft sound and I find it really easy to listen to. What's the effect on your voice? Pitch correction? What do they call the plugin?

Ah yes, I'm running out of things to say!! But that does not mean I'm any less impressed. And Raison---quite a new sound for you! Even though I hate Rob Zombie, I love this song (and wouldn't compare it to Zombie's work) ;)

Yay, everyone! I'll be sad when the month is over...

All that's missing from this splendid day of tunes is the 1-800 number we can call to donate to The Get Aidan Out of Rochester Fund. Because Rory's emotional plea here inspires us to get out our wallets and give until it hurts..which in my case would be about a buck fifty-seven.

Congrats Rory! We here at the Buffalo Tourism Bureau would like to use your terrific song 'rochester' in our new ad campaign - "Buffalo: Atleast We're Not Rochester." We can't pay you, because we are Buffalo and didn't make a penny off that last Frat Life. But you'd get a free trip here and a diet cola. Whad'ya say?
