« the beginning | Main | day #3 »

rory- More than just mistakes- "This song is about putting some weight behind words and also about rocking. Hard, bitter rocking."
aidan- Bluegrass Tomato- "what the hell am I saying? please, turn the tv back on."
chris- Housewarming- "I need to pace myself on this project. So here's a little acoustic thing, recorded directly into SoundStudio with the built-in mic on my iBook. The static was... um... on purpose... representing the cold outside, juxtaposed against the warmth within. Right."
jon- No Mate of Mine- "'No Mate of Mine' was by Bayonet U.K. from their 1983 live album "Barely Live".
trevor- Unidentified Pauses (Uh-Huh)- "I hate that one cello note that's out of tune. If you've heard my song, you know which one I'm talking about. If I ever find the PUNK who sampled that, he'll die."
raison- Raison's Song- "just random sampels and ideas put together quickly in an hour"

I love the range of styles for everyone's music! This project's gonna rock.

Can we say "best of" album? (Trevor's Idea)

I have to tell you guys, it's pretty funny that the first comments from anyone are from the artists telling each other how great they are.

Anyway, not bad stuff. Trevor, I've heard some things that I thought were better, by you. I will look forward to what you come up with next. (Pressure's on now :) )

Amazing!! What a great idea! Very original, and it will "force" your inner musicians to create, create, create. Aiden, I like the way you think. And Trev, well, I LOVE this song! Way to be. You are all so talented---I can't wait to hear what tomorrow has to bring!
I would love to do an article on this whole thing. Please contact me at snowcanwait_1@yahoo.com if you want to discuss this as a possibility. In the meantime, keep up the awesome work!! :)
