rory- The Day Was Cold- "i've been heavy into my w's as of late. so the wrens are checked in the song and i tried to employ a "summerteeth"-era wilco style keyboard noise here. Maybe the ween will start spilling in soon. Hopefully."
aidan- Hungover Sunday- "I asked Rory what I should do to make my song not sound like Interpol. He replied 'Calypso'. I might have gone a little too far."
chris- A Short One- "There's only two songs in me, and I just wrote the third"
jon- Imaginary Blues- "On the 41st anniversary of the plane crash that killed rock n rollers Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and Big Bopper... I managed to accidentally write a song in the same vein as.... their songs. It actually *was* a coincidence too. My dad told me about that while I was recording the tambourine. SPOOKY! '"
trevor- Quid Pro Quo- "This third song is best served cold and alone on a rainy day"
raison- Justified Anger- " Inspired by Man-Boy Bush himself. May he swallow his tongue and silence his drivel evermore...."

You know... I just realized that it was the 46th anniversary... not the 41st... I need to hire a fact-checker...

another day of gainful rock employment. congratulations, y'all. Chris, chicago said it best, "You're the meaning in my life, you're the inspiration." that song ruled. trevor, you had a joe jackson vibe today. totally killer. aid, you didn't go far enough. because you can never go too far in the pursuit of pure rock. Unless you start writing chicago-y songs. If that happens, your ass is going to be cut so fast.

also, word up to our mum and dad, who love the lucey boys' progress. kick it.

Hey everyone, sorry for the board shortage today. I don't know what caused it, but i'm pretty sure I'll get an email in broken english pretty soon with an apology.

From 1&1, our gracious host:

"I regret to hear of the difficulty that you had experienced and my sincere apology for the inconvenience that this might have caused you. There was a temporary outage awhile ago that they have to reboot the system immediately. I personally confirm that everything is working fine now."

Good stuff today.

Rory and Raison have gone off on bitter tirades it seems.
Chris is finding that size doesn't matter.
Aidan's smoked so much cheeba he's experiencing what doctors call "Barbados-itis".
Jon's conjuring the dead.
And Trevor's song is as soft as a baby fresh from the dry cleaners.

lol, I started with Aidan's, this one is probably my favorite you've done so far. I love the steel drums man! As usual you've got really solid harmonizations going on.

I love the vintage nature of your song Jon! Salute to the birth of rock man! (especially that falsetto backup at :38 hehehe) You use the pod to record your guitars? Or "old school" micing?

You know I always love all your stuff trev. You keep building up your melodic range everytime I hear a new song. I'm excited to see where you head in the coming years and hoping I'm along for the ride as well. ;)

Rory, I love all the backing guitar work you put to your songs. You have a great nack for catchy melodies.
